Cornwall February 2006

Rhonda and I went to Cornwall in February 2006. We stayed at the Bedknobs B&B in Bodmin. The room and the food were wonderful. Parking was a nightmare! From Bodmin we toured around visiting in particular, Padstow (including celebrating Rhonda's birthday at Rick Stein's Petroc's Bistro and eating at Rick Stein's fish and chip shop), Lands End (nothing to see), Trevarno Estate and Gardens (wonderful, including the National Museum of Gardening), Tremail (an almost non-existent hamlet near the now non-existent hamlet of Fenterlarick) where Michael's estranged father lived, Boscastle (which was devasted by floods two years previously) and St. Ives (including the Tate Gallery - we like modern art but we didn't like this).

This was Rhonda's 1st vist to Cornwall although Michael was no stranger to the area, his first wife having been Cornish. It was also Rhonda's first encounter with really narrow roads!
