For our first week we went to a resort that we had seen on our travels when we visited Lanzarote in 2005. It was at Chaco del Palo on the north east coast. It was just as wonderful as it had appeared to be when we first saw it. For our second week we stayed again at the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort in Playa Blanca. This time, however, we only did B&B and ate out in the evenings. As in 2005, we traveled extensively (car hire was unbelievably cheap) and ate far too much (food was still fabulous and cheap).
